BAKE AND EAT IT !

My family and I always take some time to cook or bake cakes and  desserts during weekends and holidays for a celebration like Birthday, Hari Raya Puasa, New year, Hari Raya Haji and others. Sometimes we bake cakes whenever our cousins, friends or neighbors visits us and we will serve them with after the main course.

The basic ingredients that we need, we will buy at any supermarkets like Tesco, Jusco or Giant supermarket. Some of the ingredients like food coloring, fruit jam for cakes and fondant, we get them from suppliers called HOI Baking and BAGUS. There are variety of things and ingredients at the shop and easily to get.

We bake varieties of cake such as Red velvet, Rainbow cake, Chocolate, Butter cake, Sponge cake, banana cake, coffee cake, cup cake, tiramisu, cheese cake and much more. We usually use many colors, especially soft colors like beige or peach, sky blue, light purple, light green, light red, yellow and orange for rainbow cake.

We usually make fondant cakes to sell and make a small business to support our financial.
Fondant is a creamy confection used as a filling or coating for cakes, pastries and sweets. It contains sugar, water and light corn syrup. To prepare it, just slightly stirred until it is an opaque mass of creamy consistency. If you want some taste for the fondant, just add some vanilla essence or lemon juice.
Fondant are easily shaped because the texture is very soft and it is easily getting cold or hard if we do not cover them under the warm cloth. If the fondant are hard to shape, we could beat it with mixer with a slow speed and add some water so that it could turning to soft texture.

We sell the cakes at a minimum price to whom which ordered the cakes. So far we already sell our cakes to our cousins, neighbours, close friends and also for wedding events.

The price is varies based on the number of tiers for fondant cakes:

1 tier for RM100
2 tiers for RM200
3 tiers for RM280
4 tiers for RM320
